New Alumni House

Here are some pictures of Dallin at the New Gordon B. Hinckley Alumni house (the 3rd picture is from the BYU website). We found out that the tallest point of the building (aside from the bell tower) is 96 feet, representing President Hinckley's age the day they broke ground (also his birthday- the building was dedicated the following year on his 97th birthday). The shelf with President Hinckley's picture was made in England, reflecting woodwork from the 1930s when he served as a missionary there. The wood posts lining the stairs were made from the same wood which was used for the construction of the conference center podium (which came from a tree of President Hinckley's). What a beautiful building to honor such a remarkable man!

Dallin looks like a natural executive in the big leather chair - he's so cute! Thanks for sharing the pictures! Hugs to all!

That is so cute how you have Dallin in all the shots. It's like a "I spy Dallin". That building looks gorgeous. We will be in Utah in November, any chance you guys will be around? We would love to meet up with you guys this time.
